All network subscribers should be aware of basic procedures involved with their communication lines. These include loading the line, checking the remaining load balance, and determining internet connection purposes. For regular users, these procedures are routine. However, new subscribers may find them confusing.


Sim load balance inquiry is the process of checking your Prepaid Sim current amount of load. Philippine Telecom Networks like Globe and its subsidiaries (TM-Touch Mobile, Cherry Prepaid, and GOMO), as well as Smart and its subsidiaries (TNT-Talk 'N Text, TNT Techno User Sim, TNT Champion Sim-Mindanao, and Sun Cellular), and the third major telco DITO Telecommunity, provide easy and convenient ways for their subscribers on how to check their balance.

Checking your sim balance regularly and knowing standard prepaid rates will keep you up to date on your sim's current amount of load with expiration details and the status of your currently subscribed promo/s, which is available to some networks.


How to Check Prepaid Sim Balance According to Network


How To Check Balance in Globe and TM Prepaid

There are six (6) ways to check your Globe/TM Prepaid account balance:

1. Text BAL to 222

You will then receive a text message that shows your balance, free text, and the date of expiration. This method is free of charge.


2. Dial *143# and press Call

*143# is Globe/TM USSD Code Menu. Upon dialing *143#, several options (for Globe) will appear, such as MyAccount, Go Promos, GoBOOSTERS, Surf4All, All-Time Favorites (like GoSAKTO, GoSURF), GlobeONE, GCash, Rewards, Loans, and more. These options may change without prior notice because Globe is doing several updates.

Upon dialing *143#, you can see your balance at the topmost part of the USSD menu. This method is also free of charge.


3. Call 222

An automated voice from Globe/TM will answer you that you will receive your Globe balance details through text message. You will then receive a text message that shows your balance, free text, and expiration date. This method requires you 1 Peso charge per balance inquiry.


4. You can view your Globe Account at www.globe.com.ph

 You must register your email address at www.globe.com.ph or log-in with an existing account. Click the "Sign In" located at the top right corner. Enroll your Globe account by choosing Add New Account. The website will refresh, and your Prepaid account will appear on the My Accounts list. Select "View Account on GHP Prepaid," and the webpage will show your balance.


5. Using Sim Toolkit or Globe/TM Menu

Open your Sim Toolkit or Globe/TM Menu. Navigate Prepaid Svcs > Check Balance. Wait for a few seconds, and you will receive an SMS showing your account balance.


6. Using GlobeOne app (for Globe Prepaid) / TM app (for TM)

Download the GlobeOne app in Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then register your mobile number. Once you have successfully registered, you can see your Load Balance in the app's dashboard. This method requires an internet connection.


Additional information:
- To check the remaining data from all your Globe data subscriptions, just text DATA BAL to 8080 and wait for the information message.
- To check the status of your promo (call, text, or data expiration), here are the keywords you can send:
GOSAKTO STATUS to 8080 (for Globe GoSakto)
GOSURF STATUS to 8080 (for Globe GoSurf)
EZ STATUS to 8080 (for TM EasySurf)

- To check your TM or Globe Rewards points, just text BAL to 4438.

How To Check Balance in Smart Prepaid

Smart Prepaid includes Smart LTE, Buddy, Kickstart, and Jump-in. There are six (6) ways to check your Smart Prepaid account balance:

1. Dial *123# and press Call

*123# is Smart USSD Code Menu. Just dial *123#, select Bal/Services > Check Balance, and you will receive a text message regarding your load balance and prepaid promo status. This method is free of charge. The *123# menu replaces the SMS method (?1515 to 214 or BAL to 214).


2. Log in to GigaLife app

Download the GigaLife app in Google Play Store or Apple App Store. In the app's dashboard, you will see your Load balance, as well as the active promos and GigaPoints. If you are on mobile data, accessing the GigaLife app is free.


3. Log on to My Smart Dashboard at my.smart.com.ph

Registration and linking of Smart SIM are needed. Upon logging in, select your sim number, and you will see your current load balance. Take note; this method requires an internet connection.


4. Call 1515

An automated voice from Smart will answer you that you will receive your Smart balance details through text message. You will then receive a text message that shows your balance details and the date of expiration. This method requires you 1 Peso charge per balance inquiry.


5. Using Sim Toolkit or Smart Menu

Go to SMART MENU > Buddy Balance/Prepaid Balance to receive load balance information via text.


6. Call *888 using your cellphone or call (02) 8888-1111 with your landline

Follow the voice instructions for balance inquiry. This method is free of charge also.


FOR SMART BRO USERS:

Just text BRO BAL to 2200 and wait for the message of your load balance details.


How To Check Balance in TNT

TNT also includes TNT Champion Sim-Mindanao and TNT Techno User Sim. There are six (6) ways to check your TNT account balance:


1. Dial *123# and press Call

*123# is TNT USSD Code Menu. Just dial *123#, select Bal/Services > Check Balance, and you will receive a text message regarding your load balance and prepaid promo status. This method is free of charge. The *123# menu replaces the SMS method (?15001 to 214 or BAL to 214).


2. Log on to My Smart Dashboard at my.smart.com.ph

Registration and linking of TNT SIM are needed. Upon logging in, select your sim number, and you will see your current load balance. Take note; this method requires an internet connection.


3. Log in to GigaLife app

Using your Android or iOS phone, open the GigaLife app. In the app's dashboard, you will see your Load balance, as well as the active promos and GigaPoints. Accessing the GigaLife app is free of charge.


4. Call 15001

An automated voice from TNT will answer you that you will receive your TNT balance details through text message. You will then receive a text message that shows your balance details and the date of expiration. This method requires you 1 Peso charge per balance inquiry.


5. Using Sim Toolkit or TNT Menu

Go to TNT MENU > Balance Inquiry to receive load balance information via text.


6. Call *888 using your cellphone or call (02) 8888-1111 with your landline

Follow the voice instructions for balance inquiry. This method is free of charge also.


How To Check Balance in Sun Cellular

There are five (5) ways to check your Sun Cellular Prepaid account balance:


1. Dial *123# and press Call

2. Dial *221#

After dialing *221#, you that you will receive your Sun Prepaid balance details through text message. The text message shows your balance details and the date of expiration.


3. Log on to My Sun at my.suncellular.com.ph

Registration and linking of Sun Cellular SIM are needed. Upon logging in, select your sim number, and you will see your current load balance. Take note; this method requires an internet connection.


4. Log in to GigaLife app

Open the GigaLife app, and you will see your Load balance in the dashboard. The use of the GigaLife app with your Sun SIM card is free.


5. Using Sim Toolkit or Sun Cellular Menu

Go to Sun Cellular Menu. Navigate Balance Inquiry to receive load balance information via text.


How To Check Balance in Cherry Prepaid

Cherry Prepaid is a subsidiary of Globe, but it has its own methods in balance inquiry. There are three (3) ways to check your Cherry Prepaid account balance:


1. Text BAL to 2136

You will then receive a text message that shows your balance, free text, and the date of expiration. This method is free of charge.


2. Dial *139# and press CALL

Select My Account > Load Balance > Check Load Balance


3. Using Sim Toolkit or Cherry Prepaid Menu

Go to Cherry Prepaid Menu. Navigate Balance Inquiry to receive load balance information via text.


How To Check Balance in GOMO

You can easily check your balance in GOMO by downloading the GOMO PH app on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Huawei App Gallery. GOMO PH app lets you track your data, call, and text usage. You can also use your data as 'Mo Creds, which can be converted into calls and texts. Accessing the app with your GOMO SIM card is free.


How To Check Balance in DITO

You can quickly check your balance in DITO by downloading the DITO app on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Huawei App Gallery. DITO app lets you manage your account, check your balance and monitor your data usage, calls, and texts. You can also purchase load and other exclusive promo packages. Accessing the app with your DITO SIM card is free of charge.
