How to Change PLDT Fibr WiFi Password

How to Change PLDT Fibr WiFi Password

PLDT Home Fibr is one of the fastest consumer broadband Internet plans in the Philippines, with speeds of up to 100 Mbps. Most PLDT Fibr subscribers use the default login credentials of their router/modem, which has some vulnerability or weakness. So it is an integral part to change your PLDT Fibr WiFi password immediately.

If you're a new PLDT Fibr subscriber, securing your network is very important. PLDT Fibr default WiFi password and SSID is printed at the bottom of the modem. These default credentials are not safe because there's a weakness found in the pattern of the default SSID by the tech geeks. They will just get the last 5 digits of the wifi name and convert it using the hex code/MAC table. They can now access your wifi for free with the default password "PLDTWIFI + the converted last 5 digits".

Because of that, we’ve created a handy guide on how to change your PLDT Home Fibr WiFi password to help you with that goal. To change your PLDT Fibr password and even SSID Name, just follow the step-by-step guide below.
